Ghar Bomber Squads

Like the Battle and Assault squads, the main support troops of the Ghar are fitted into huge, armoured battle suits. These troops, however, are armed with ‘Bombers’ – long-range weapons that lob disruptor shells at the enemy. The minimum sized squad has a leader and a bomb trooper, but can be upgraded with two Ghar Battle troopers and a bomb feeder scutter.
Normally the squad is classed as Infantry, but when a scutter is added the squad is a Mixed Infantry + Mounted unit.

The scourer cannon is a core weapon of the Ghar war machine, able to fire in multiple modes and launch the terrifying, space-distorting disruptor bomblets. The disruptor bomber has an impressive range and fires the terrifying disruptor shells at an enemy. The main problem is that only a limited amount of ammunition can be carried, so the squad is sometimes supported by a loader scutter which prevents the bomblets from running out. An interesting facet of a mixed Heavily Armoured/normal armoured unit like the Bomber squad is that the unit still counts as Heavily Armoured, even if the scutter is shot at and hit. As far as the suits are concerned, the scutter and its operator are just a piece of necessary equipment.
